Katherine Wilkins MBAcC Lic.AC

Hello, my name is Kath and I am a Five Element Acupuncturist.

My aim is to provide a holistic approach to healing, by treating the root cause and restoring balance within the body. All of my treatments are tailored to your individual needs.

I hold a Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture from The Acupuncture Academy, where I completed a 3 year Honours Degree Equivalent Award, as Accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board.

I have studied adjunctive techniques to use alongside acupuncture including cupping, gua sha, tui na massage and additional musculoskeletal (MSK) treatments for pain.

I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), membership number #962597 and I am registered on the Professional Standards Authority register (PSA).

My Story

My acupuncture journey started 12 years ago, my husband and I had been trying for a baby for a few years, we had all kinds of medical tests and failed rounds of IUI. When I found a post about how acupuncture could help with fertility, I didn't hesitate and contacted the acupuncturist.

After the first treatment I felt like a black cloud had been lifted from my shoulders, I felt lighter and calmer. After just 6 weeks of treatment, by restoring balance within my body I was able to conceive my daughter naturally. I honestly believe this wouldn't have happened without the acupuncture treatment, and wished I had found acupuncture sooner.

I have continued to use acupuncture over the last 12 years to support my female health, hormonal imbalances including perimenopause symptoms. I found acupuncture supported me through the loss of my mum and the grief process. I regularly have acupuncture to keep me in balance and to ensure I am the best practitioner I can be for my patients.

My belief in acupuncture made me want to support women in the way I have been supported by my acupuncturist and her treatments. In 2023 I decided to give up my 20 year career to retrain as an acupuncturist and in May 2026 I achieved my Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture.

My Vision

I am passionate about supporting women's hormonal health and mental health.

I provide support for women during different phases in their life, including menstrual health, fertility, perimenopause and menopause. By providing holistic support, to promote balance I can support symptoms including hot flashes, sleep disturbance, mood swings and fatigue.

I provide support for people struggling with their mental health, including teenagers, during times of anxiety and stress, by restoring balance within the body and calming the mind.
